Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company

Over the centuries it has become one of South Africa's most famous landmarks. The steep cliffs and rocky outcrops of the mountain play home to a number of plants and animals. The mountain is home to approximately 1470 species of plants; more than the entire British Isles!

Complimenting this vast array of flora is a stunning range of fauna, some, like the Table Mountain Ghost Frog, being found in no other place in the world.

NEW VENUES

There are a few exciting changes in the works for Cableway Catering! The two venues conventionally used for private functions, namely The Cocktail Bar and Summit Room, has been upgraded to become a retail activity centre for the season.

Since these venues will no longer be used for functions, provisionally booked function groups and impromptu groups will be accommodated at one of the open air venues listed below. Please know that since all three areas are open-air sites, there will be no ‘inside’ option, should the weather conditions be poor. Groups that wish to book these areas must know that we will only honour group bookings when the weather and visibility is good, as we want your clients to have the full cableway ‘experience’.
